Defense Logistics Agency – SAP Implementation Project

InSap Services provided services for the implementation of the SAP application for the Defense Logistics Agency.  DLA’s SAP – CSM replaced the agency’s legacy supply system with a state-of-the-art system linking the entire supply chain from customer to supplier.  This major re-engineering effort covered the majority of the agency’s commodities (e.g., services, construction, medical, etc.) providing end-to-end material, logistics and procurement management.

During this implementation our team conducted an analysis of DLA’s business processes – interaction of DLA’s customers with DLA’s personnel and management of issues that pertain to this process.  Our team conducted an in-depth analysis for implementing the SAP solution to provide agile, reliable, and responsive approaches across all DLA supply chains and create new standardized processes that will enhanced their supply chain capabilities.

During this project InSap provided services of highly qualified SAP Business Analysts to conduct an analysis of DLA’s business processes, perform SAP configuration, SAP Technical Analysts for Data Migration and RICE Objects, SAP Architect/Modeler, Training Specialists, Test Analysts, QA Lead and Specialists, Data Analysts and Task Manager.

Our team supported the end-to-end implementation of DLA SAP implementation at DLA and provided sustainment and deployment support at DLA Headquarters and at Battle Creek.

InSap Services also supported the project during change management.  InSap introduced them to the new software features and functionality of the DLA SAP solution.  This included designing and developing a training curriculum and delivery format to educate various audiences within the DLA about the new integrated solutions and functions.
